Little Corn Island loves live music. It is the spice of life!
But since we are very remote, 50 miles off the Atlantic coast of Nicaragua, many professional musicians pass Little Corn by when traveling through Central America, sticking to the better known cities for performances. The ones who have come here are always amazed at the beauty of the island, and always wish they came sooner, and many have returned multiple times after discovering this hidden gem.
Tranquilo Cafe is ideally suited for live performances, and the most popular venue on the island, and has hosted many great shows over our 7 years. Our location and layout is ideally suited for live music performances. We have 2 stages; 1 on our deck that comfortably holds 60-80 people, and for bigger shows a large one on the beach, where we’ve hosted several hundred music lovers at a time.
We have a full sound system; amps, mixer, mics, cables, stands, monitors, speakers. As well as stage lighting.
We also have spare instruments; guitars, african drums, and even a ukulele.
